As every other rock band, Linkin Park hardly relied on physical singles sales. This got even truer with this format quickly collapsing after the group debut. All in all, the band sold nearly 4 million physical singles.

Digital Singles Sales.
Although Linkin Park never had a truly big digital hit, the release of various albums during the digital peak years plus ongoing catalog appeal of their early tracks generated a healthy tally of 71,5 million digital singles sold.
What I’ve Done, the only track that had both advantages – favorable market context upon release and strong catalog appeal – ends up as their best selling hit at 6,7 million, followed by various cult tracks including In The End, Numb and Numb / Encore remix.
While each of the band first three albums adds for 11 million or more digital single sales, in spite of being released during better years for digital sales their last three ones combine for only 15,7 million. This shows those records pure album sales have not only suffered from the bad market environment but instead that their appeal was much weaker.
